Writing reviews in exchange for free/discounted products!

While there are tons of ways to get free or discounted items nowadays, my absolute favorite is to write reviews on Amazon (and sometimes other websites) in exchange for a promotional code to use when you buy the item. It's easy, it's safe, and who doesn't love free stuff?!?

One of the biggest issues people have with this method is finding sites that allow them to do this. Every time I tell someone I know about all of the awesome free stuff I've gotten, they ask a million questions and ultimately end up asking "How can I do it?" So, I thought it might be helpful if I put together a list of my top favorite websites that you will definitely love!

Here are several of my favorite websites that I use almost daily:

https://www.amzreviewtrader.com/

http://amazingdealsgroup.com/

https://www.giveawayservice.com/

https://elitedealclub.com/

http://reviewloop.com/

Important things to remember:

  • If you use the promo code but don't write the review, they can cancel your account! So don't forget! I find it helpful to make a list of all the things I currently have to review and when to do it.
  • In your reviews, most websites explain that you have to indicate that you got it discounted/free in exchange for your review. So just write somewhere in your review something like "Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review."
  • Sometimes you can't find things completely free, but at super discounts - this is just as good! My go-to when this happens is Amazon Mechanical Turk (blog post coming soon!). This website allows you to do quick tasks which earn you money, and you can then transfer that money into your amazon giftcard balance! SCORE!
  • Last but not least, you'll need an Amazon Prime membership for most of these websites. It's a bit pricey at first, but if you shop on Amazon even half as much as I do, it is DEFINITELY worth it! If you're a student at a university you can even get half off your Prime membership with this link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info?ie=UTF8&refcust=34DPVWSTT5EFR3SUBZ7Q67IWLE&ref_type=generic
Good luck on your quest for free stuff! Comment if you have any questions!

Until next time,

Mary
